Marriott Hotel Website Photography Performance System for Competitive Markets

A complete Marriott-approved hotel photography and gallery launch system that carries the project from strategic gallery planning and low-disruption production through metadata, photographer-side MDAC upload, and guided support for the property-side upload and submission process—built to reduce the burden on your team, strengthen guest confidence, and help your hotel compete more effectively for bookings.

The Opportunity

Introduce Nags Head guests to the complete stay

Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Nags Head is newly opened, and its first complete photo gallery will shape how guests understand the property. Clear views of the room options, arrival experience, breakfast area, pool, and fitness center can help guests choose with confidence and picture their Outer Banks stay.

This engagement brings those spaces together in one cohesive image collection for Marriott.com, the Google listing, and property marketing. From planning through Marriott gallery launch, the process gives the hotel a clear path to putting the finished photography into use.

How the System Works

From gallery planning through launch

The engagement is structured as one connected process. Every stage is planned to move the property from identifying its visual needs to placing the finished photography into active use.

01

Plan

Review the current gallery, identify coverage priorities, and structure the photography around guest clarity, room carousels, and the property’s competitive presentation.

02

Produce

Create Marriott-approved hotel photography through a carefully coordinated, low-disruption production inside the operating property.

03

Prepare

Refine, organize, label, and document the image library while preparing the metadata and marketing captions needed for launch.

04

Launch

Complete the photographer-side MDAC upload and guide the property team through its upload, gallery placement, and submission process.

Recommended Property Coverage

Rooms, arrival, and the amenities guests will use

Photography will cover the three indicated room types, the property exteriors, and the public spaces in your inquiry. The deliverable is a curated selection of up to 30 final edited images, with the precise shot list confirmed after a review of room layouts and property readiness.

Guest rooms and bathrooms

  • King, double queen, and suite room types
  • Representative desk and in-room amenities where useful
  • Applicable standard and accessible bathroom coverage

Arrival and exterior

  • Daytime exterior and entrance
  • Twilight exterior, weather and lighting permitting

Public spaces and amenities

  • Lobby and front desk
  • Breakfast area and standard property-prepared breakfast display
  • Pool and fitness center
Dedicated food and beverage or menu photography and talent-driven lifestyle scenes are outside this scope.

Production Approach

An arrival walkthrough and two production days

The visit begins with arrival and a property walkthrough, followed by two consecutive production days. Coverage will be coordinated around hotel operations, access to prepared rooms and amenities, and the best available light for day and twilight exteriors.

01

Arrival and walkthrough

Meet the hotel team, review the room layouts and shared spaces, and finalize the production sequence.

02

First production day

Photograph scheduled rooms, public spaces, and available exterior opportunities around property operations.

03

Second production day

Complete the agreed coverage and work toward a twilight exterior when weather and property lighting permit.

What the System Includes

The project combines photography, gallery strategy, image preparation, and launch support as one coordinated engagement.

Strategic gallery planning

Review and planning built around room-type clarity, carousel structure, hero placement, and the property’s competitive online presentation.

Complete image information, marketing captions, room-code organization, and photographer-side submission through Marriott’s MDAC workflow.

Guided property-side launch support

A property-specific upload guide, recommended carousel and hero placement, and personal guidance through the property-side upload and submission process.

System Investment

Investment in the complete engagement

This investment covers the complete Marriott Hotel Website Photography Performance System outlined above—from planning and two days of hotel photography through post-production the week following the shoot, metadata preparation, photographer-side MDAC upload, and guided property-side launch support.

System Investment $6,000

Includes the arrival walkthrough, two production days, up to 30 edited final images, gallery preparation, and Marriott launch support.

Travel Quoted separately

Travel is additional. A written estimate and not-to-exceed amount will be provided for approval before travel is booked; actual costs are billed with the final balance.

Deposit to Reserve Production $3,000
The deposit is 50% of the system investment and excludes travel. The remaining $3,000 system balance and approved actual travel costs are due before final licensed delivery and included launch support.

Next Steps

Put the project in motion

Once a preferred schedule and the preliminary scope have been confirmed, Morgan Nowland Photography will provide the travel estimate and deposit request, then coordinate the pre-production call with the property team.

01

Confirm the proposal

Confirm the recommended coverage, system investment, and written travel estimate.

02

Select the dates

Choose a production window based on property readiness and current availability.

03

Reserve production

Complete the project deposit to reserve the selected dates on the production calendar.

04

Begin pre-production

Coordinate the planning call and finalize room layouts, property access, and production logistics.

Project Terms

Clear terms for a well-managed production

Scheduling

Production dates are reserved once the proposal is confirmed and the project deposit is received. Scheduling remains subject to property readiness and Morgan Nowland Photography’s current availability.

Post-production and delivery

Post-production is completed the week following the shoot. Once editing is complete, the property will receive a contact sheet and final invoice. Final licensed files and included launch support are released after the remaining balance and approved travel costs have been paid.

Property preparation and access

The hotel will provide access to prepared examples of the king, double queen, and suite rooms, their applicable bathrooms, and the listed public spaces. The sequence will be planned around property operations and available light.

Exterior coverage

Exterior photography is weather dependent. The twilight image also depends on functioning exterior lighting and suitable conditions. Any return visit outside the agreed production window would be arranged separately.

Scope adjustments

This preliminary proposal assumes king, double queen, and suite are the only distinct room layouts and that the listed spaces are ready for photography. Materially different additional layouts or expanded production requirements may require an updated investment or schedule. Dedicated food and beverage photography is excluded.

Property-side launch support

Morgan Nowland Photography will complete the photographer-side MDAC upload and guide the property-side upload and submission process. The property retains responsibility for its account access and platform-side changes.

Rescheduling and cancellation

The project deposit may be transferred to one rescheduled production date, subject to availability. Client cancellations are subject to the cancellation schedule provided with the agreement and any nonrefundable travel expenses already incurred.

Image licensing

Upon final payment, the included commercial license covers the photographed property, its ownership or management company, Marriott, and authorized marketing
